OUR HISTORY
On the 8th day of May in 1954, the church was organized at Plymouth Ohio under the authority of the Calvary Baptist Church in Crestline Ohio.   At first we were known as Plymouth Missionary Baptist Church.  Later the church moved into Mansfield and was known as Mansfield Missionary Baptist Church for a time before being renamed to the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.

Our former pastors have included the following great men of God:

• Elder Eugene Hensley
• Elder Oscar Mink
• Elder Jim Walters
• Elder James Courts

And the church's current pastor is Elder David Green, who became pastor November 24, 2007.
